Three Lunchtime Sessions

This three-part, weekly lunchtime training series will give a complete overview of good co-operative board governance and is suited to co-op participants of all kinds: Members, management, experienced directors or those considering serving on a co-operative Board.

1st Session – Co-operative Fundamentals

2nd Session – Best Practice Co-op Governance 

  • Directors’ roles and responsibilities
  • Good governance principles and conduct
  • Conflicts of interest

3rd Session – Co-op Business Tools

  • Strategic planning and risk management
  • Co-operative financial statements and reporting
  • Effective board meetings
  • Succession planning

Learn best practice principles and network with other co-op leaders as we put these principles into practice!

Molly Kendall, The Co-op Federation’s Business Development Officer will present this interactive online course.

Numbers will be capped to allow for robust interaction, so book your place soon. These sessions are not recorded as we intend to connect co-operators confidentially to allow robust discussion about co-operative governance challenges.
