About The Co-op Federation

The Co-op Federation advocates for the co-operative sector; raises public awareness; provides education, resources and networking opportunities; assists in the formation of co-operatives and like entities; and maintains links with other organisations interstate, nationally and internationally.

The Federation has a voluntary board of directors from a wide range of sectors where co-operatives operate.

Many co-operatives are members of the Federation and active in training and networking activities.

We are very grateful to those co-operatives who provide additional assistance such as meeting rooms, hospitality and sponsorship for events. Working together, we can achieve a lot more.

In addition to all registered co-operatives, the Federation also welcomes as members other organisations representing co-operatives or whose activities are consistent with the International Co-operative Principles.
