The Co-op Federation welcomes all new members so we can extend our network and continue to help solve the problems of co-operatives using the rich knowledge base within this vibrant and growing sector! Membership fees are based on turnover and start from $125 per year plus GST. Calculate the cost of membership for your co-op here.

How does membership benefit my Co-op?

Can you help me form a co-op?

Yes.  We have helped dozens of groups successfully form new co-ops or convert existing businesses to co-ops. The process is simple and easy; nothing brings us more pleasure than helping new co-ops come into being! Fees for co-op formation are based on your project and how much you want to do yourself. How do I become a member?

Just fill out our membership application form below and email it to our secretary Sam Byrne sec@fed.coop

We will send you an invoice for your membership fee. once it’s paid, your co-op will be quickly approved by our Board of Directors, and your co-op will officially become a Co-op Federation Member!

We ask our member co-operatives to nominate one representative for dealings with The Co-op Federation.

Not a co-op? Corporations may also be eligible to be a member of The Co-op Federation.  If you are an incorporated entity whose activities are consistent with the international co-operative principles contact us regarding your eligibility.

Then we will connect you to dozens of inspiring co-operators around Australia.  Enjoy our events, conferences, and online courses at member rates and truly experience cooperative solidarity.
